Missing 205 boats traced: Ministry of Fisheries

The Ministry of Fisheries announced that 205 boats that went missing in Kaniyakumari due to cyclone Ockhi has been traced. A control room for updating of information under additional director Sameeran was set up to deal with the crisis. It has been reported that the boats were found to have drifted off to Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and Lakshadweep islands.
