According to reports, at least 24 persons were admitted to hospitals for Dengue fever in Tiruvallur district on Thursday alone. Earlier reports suggested that at least seven people died on Thursday alone due to Dengue. With the Dengue fever creating a crisis in the Tamil Nadu, the State government is reportedly taking several measures such as distributing Chiretta water to bring the outbreak under control.
