The Madras High Court issued notice to gold medallist para-athlete Mariyappan Thangavelu in connection with the death of a youth on Tuesday. Reportedly, the petitioner M Muniyammal, mother of the deceased 19-year-old Sathish Kumar has alleged that Mariyappan was involved in the murder of her son and that she has been receiving threat via calls ever since.
