According to reports, a man, posing as an income tax official, tried to conduct a search in Jayalalithaa’s niece J Deepa’s house and escaped before the police could arrive. Deepa’s husband Madhavan, who was the only person present at their house in T Nagar, said that the poser showed  an identity card and a search warrant. However, he jumped over the wall and ran to escape before the police arrived. The police are on hunt for the man and a probe is on.
