KAMAL HAASAN LAUNCHES PARTY'S OFFICIAL APP

Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan launched his party's official app, Maiam Whistle on Monday at 5 pm. He announced that the app will not be a magic wand, but will be a listening tool for Tamil Nadu citizens. He reportedly said, "The app is not a replacement for the government and police. It will be an aide to them. It will criticise them, but not be a replacement."

The actor-politician also announced that his party will be participating in the gram panchayat that is to happen on Tuesday.
