MADURAI MAN ESCAPES FROM ISOLATION CAMP TO MEET GIRLFRIEND; GETS ARRESTED!
Home > News Shots > Tamil NaduAmid the lockdown across the nation, a 24-year-old man, who returned from Dubai was kept in quarantine in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu. He escaped on Wednesday night from the facility camp which followed a scare to health and police officials.
The man, who was kept in quarantine returned from Dubai recently and was lodged at an isolation facility. Hours after he escaped from the camp, he was caught by police from his girlfriend's house in Sivaganga district.
According to a Times of India (ToI) report, the man told police that the girl's parents were against their relationship and hence he wanted to see her. A case has been registered against the man for breaking government and state quarantine rules.
The girl is also been kept under isolation after meeting the boy, ToI further reported.
Earlier in the week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation for the second time and informed people about the 21-day lockdown amid coronavirus outbreak. So far, India has reported more than 700 coronavirus cases and 17 deaths.
