The Madras High Court on Tuesday ordered the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) to issue notices to 138 persons over illegal constructions of bungalows on the East Coast Road in Chennai. The persons, including Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan and actress Ramya Krishnan, allegedly didn’t get the proper sanction from CMDA for building the bungalows. The court adjourned the case till April 9.
