The Madras High Court on Friday dismissed a petition seeking a ban on the title of actor Vijay's upcoming movie ‘Mersal’. Justice Anita Sumanth dismissed the case after agreeing with the production house Sri Thenandal Films that there was no illegality in using the title as alleged by A. Rajendran of Film Factory, another production house. Reportedly, Mersal is all set to have a massive opening on Diwali.
