The Madras High Court on Tuesday adjourned indefinitely the hearing in the Gutkha scam involving Tamil Nadu minister, Director General of Police and former police commissioner. All the parties involved submitted their arguments in written petitions as ordered by the court earlier. Accepting their petitions, the bench consisting of Chief Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice Abdul Quddhose adjourned the hearing in the case indefinitely. DMK MLA J Anbazhagan filed the petition seeking a CBI inquiry into the matter.
