In order to control the cases of non-residents of Puducherry registering their luxury cars in the Union Territory, the Lt Governor Kiran Bedi has reportedly enquired a probe in the matter. Non-residents of Puducherry are reportedly registering their luxury cars in the Union Territory to get their taxes deducted. The Lt Governor will reportedly be writing to the Centre to make Aadhaar mandatory to register cars in Puducherry.
