An 18-year-old boy identified as Sayeed Sadhiq of class XII was run over by a truck on Wednesday in Mangadu. Reportedly, the boy's friends visited his home, and when he went to drop them back, a lorry hit them from behind. Sayeed died on the spot, and his friends escaped without injuries.
