Check what happened to Chennai's Binny headquarters, 200-year old heritage building

The Binny headquarters located in Armeninan Street in Parry’s has been reportedly reduced to rubble. Reportedly, the heritage building was demolished after getting a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from department of housing and urban development. According to a Times of India report, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) sources said the building was pulled down based on an application saying it was gutted by fire and has become uninhabitable.
