The latest in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case is Supreme Court giving the centre three months time to decide on the release of the convicts. Meanwhile, Nalini's lawyer, one of the convicted in the case, has accused the Tamil Nadu government of unwillingness to release the prisoners. Perarivalan, Murugan, Santhan, Nalini, Robert Pious, Jayakumar and Ravichandran are serving life terms for assassinating the former Prime Minister in 1991.
