KHUSHBU SUNDAR RESIGNS FROM CONGRESS PARTY; MAKES IT OFFICIAL IN STATEMENT!  

Actor-turned-politician Khushbu Sundar resigned from the Congress party today morning.

In her resignation letter to party president Sonia Gandhi, Kushboo wrote that people like her who want to work for the party are being “suppressed” by “few elements seated at higher levels within the party.” 

She, who has been with the Congress for almost six years, is in Delhi today and is likely to meet the BJP’s central team.

In her letter to party President, Kushboo wrote; “Few elements seated at higher level within the party, people who have no connectivity with the ground reality or public recognition are dictating terms and people like me who wanted to work for the party sincerely, are being pushed and suppressed,” her letter read.

As per Indian Express report, she might join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), later in the day today. She joined the Congress in 2014, having earlier been a member of the DMK from 2010.
