KARNATAKA TO NOMINATE REPRESENTATIVES FOR CAUVERY WATER

According to reports, Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy told reporters on Monday that the state government will abide by the Supreme Court judgment in sharing of Cauvery water with Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Karnataka will soon send to the Centre the names of its nominees in the Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) and the Regulation Authority, Kumaraswamy said after a meeting with Union Water Resources Minister Nitin Gadkari.
