"CURRENTLY THERE IS ONLY WATER FOR OUR STATE": KARNATAKA GOVT

The Karnataka government filed an affidavit with the Supreme Court on Monday. According to the affidavit, the Karnataka government has already let 116.7 thousand million cubic feet of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu as of April. Reportedly, an extra 16.66 tmc of water was given to TN than the accepted amount.
They reportedly said, "Currently, there is only water for the state of Karnataka." In response, Minister Jayakumar said that the Supreme Court should not accept the report filed by Karnataka. He said, "As informed by the Supreme Court, Karnataka should open Cauvery water."
