DMK working president MK Stalin had earlier said that “attractive paper flowers will blossom in the Tamil Nadu political platform; but they are not fragrant.” When asked if Stalin’s remarks alluded to him, Kamal Haasan said, “I believe he wouldn’t have said that about me.” However, the actor added, “if he said that about me, then I want to make one thing clear; I’m not a flower, but a seed; I don’t smell when you sniff; sow me and see; I will germinate.”
