Actor Kamal Haasan in a tweet warned the people of Chennai and the civic authorities of grave consequences if not prepared for the NorthEast monsoon. He added that he is worried about the information that he is getting about the water bodies in the city. Kamal in his tweet, states that Chennai’s South-West and North-West parts are getting ready to be submerged as the lakes surrounding the city will be full anytime, which could lead to another flood-like situation. He also urged media to help in creating awareness among the people in that region and help them voice their sufferings.
