Makkal Needhi Maiam President Kamal Haasan took part in the Gram Sabha held at Adigathur on Tuesday. The actor-politician had earlier announced that he will be adopting the village. Speaking to a crowd there, he said, "If we have the support of people, we can adopt 12,000 villages."
Kamal Haasan announced that three classrooms and 100 bathrooms will be built in Adigathur. He also promised that measures to collect water will be provided. Kamal clarified that they are not helping villages for the votes.
