Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan reportedly appreciated the efforts of State and Central governments for their rescue operation to save the standard trekkers in Theni’s Kurangani hill. He also reportedly called the parent of one of the victims and tried to reach the others over the phone.
