Advocate General Vijay Narayan on Tuesday contended in the Madras High Court that Governor is not answerable to courts with respect to the performance of his official duties as he enjoys constitutional immunity. Making this submission, Narayan reportedly claimed that the judiciary cannot direct Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao to order CM Palaniswami to prove his majority in the Assembly.
