On the occasion of birth anniversary of late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalitha, Edappadi K Palaniswamy has uploaded a video on his official Twitter handle with the hashtag "HBDAmma".
The video is the compilation of brave speeches of Jayalalitha during her tenure as the CM of Tamil Nadu.
Affectionately known as 'Amma' and 'Iron Lady' by people who adore her, her contribution lead to uplifting the lives of underprivileged in the state to the best of her interests.
By the People, For the People - Iron Lady's heartfelt hook line
She had never failed to address the crowd with this hook line which seemed to be her favourite way of expressing gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu. "Only a mother knows what her child needs and the appropriate time to fulfil the child's needs," said Jayalalitha during one of her speeches. This had indeed had a direct connection to the masses of Tamil Nadu, especially when she was called as 'Amma' by the people.
The'Anna' Path
Touted to be the great scholar and one of the major pillars of Dravidian parties 'Arignar Anna' had captivated Jayalalitha's speech to motivate the people. "Like Anna would say we should convert all the criticisms into positive energy and walk forward towards our vision". She would also encourage people to shed fear to tackle the ups and downs in life.
The 'MGR' Spotlight
Being the ardent follower of MGR, the founder of AIADMK, Jayalalitha had shared the spotlight on her with the people saying "Vetri Meedhu Vetri Vandhu Ennai Serum. Adhai vaangi thantha perumai ellam unnai serum" (I'm bestowed on victories and you (people) deserve all the pride for binging it to me).
