However, her death was announced a day later keeping in mind the safety of the hospital, he reportedly said. His statement has further stirred up the controversy over the mysterious death of J Jayalalithaa. Notably, Apollo hospital administration had announced that the former AIADMK chief died of cardiac arrest on December 5, 2016.
