Based on a complaint by the Justice A. Arumughaswamy Commission of Inquiry, the Anna Square police have reportedly registered a case against P.Vetrivel, who had released a video of the late CM J Jayalalithaa, violating the model code of conduct prior to the elections. The complaint also added that the video had been released on purpose to sway voters and instigate violence and confusion ahead of the elections.
