An auto driver, who was fed up waiting to get a driving licence, reportedly got on top of a cell phone tower with a bottle of fuel and threatened the Thiruvanmiyur RTO officials to commit suicide. Locals who saw the man climbing up, allegedly alerted the local police. After the cops and fire department officials arrived, they had a short negotiation and convinced the man to get down. The cops reportedly guided him to complete formalities to get a license.
