There have been various media reports coming in that suggest that actor Vijay Sethupathi's house and office were subject to income tax raids.

However, sources close to the actor say that it wasn't a raid in the actual sense and the incident is reported to have happened three days ago when the actor was out of town.

Subsequently, it transpires that income tax officials had conducted a routine check on his properties in Kilpauk and Valasaravakkam in the city.
