CHENNAI MAN'S 'CRUEL' ACT IN FRONT OF HIS 5-YEAR-OLD SON

After the estranged wife asked money to cover the education expenses of her 5-year old son, her husband allegedly stabbed her to death in Neelankarai on August 25 (Sunday). Reportedly, the incident happened in front of the 5-year-old boy. Akila (30) and Dhanasekar (37) got married in 2013. Both of them were not living together due to some difference of opinion.

Akila from Tiruvannamalai was staying at his brother Gunesekeran's house in Perungudi with her son. Reportedly, Akila had gone to Dhanasekar's house in Neelankarai on Sunday evening. Dhanasekar seemed agitated as Akila asked money to pay for his son's education.  Suddenly a scuffle broke out between them in front of their 5-year-old son.

An extreme fit of rage made Dhanasekar grab a Kitchen knife and stab Akila repeatedly on her chest, face, hands and abdomen. Eventually, the shocking act of  Dhanasekar alarmed the 5-year-old boy who ran out of the house. He seemed to be crying aloud in public that his father stabbed his mother which alerted the neighbours. 

Then, the neighbours called Neelankarai police who reached the spot only to recover Akila's dead body amidst the pool of blood. The police sent the body to Royapettah Government Hospital for postmortem. Parallelly, they have also rolled out a search hunt to nab the alleged perpetrator, Dhanasekar.
