Tamil Nadu government, in its report, has said that 220 out of the 294 fishermen from Kanyakumari, who went missing following Cyclone Ockhi, have been rescued. Further, the report added that out of the 2570 fishermen in 284 boats from other parts of the state, 2,384 fishermen and 205 boats have been rescued.The Navy, Air Force and Indian Coast Guard are involved in rescue operations for the remaining boats and fishermen, CM Palaniswami has said.
