Speaking at MGR centenary celebrations in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has reportedly announced that Hosur will be upgraded to become a corporation. Due to increase in population and industrial development, 8 nearby Panchayats will be integrated into Hosur corporation, he reportedly said. Stating that fund will be allocated to build bypass road, CM added Hosur will benefit from additional infrastructural facilities.
