Hindu outfits on February 14 last year conducted a wedding for a goat and a dog as a sign of their opposition to Valentine’s Day. The Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam had then filed a petition with the Coimbatore city commissioner to take action against the outfit. The members of the Kazhagam on Thursday submitted a petition before the family welfare court in Coimbatore seeking divorce for the two animals. They alleged that the commissioner failed to take action on the complaint.
