While speaking to media in Chennai, US Ambassador to India clarified that no changes have been made to the H1B visa program recently. He further added the highest number of H1B visas are being awarded in the Chennai's US consulate when compared to any other city in the world. Similar to Modi government’s ‘Make in India’ policy, Trump administration’s ‘Buy American, Hire American’ initiative will only benefit both countries, he reportedly said.
