Anupriya, an eight-year-old Class 3 student from Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu has become a model student after she donated her piggy bank savings amounting to close to Rs 9,000 for people whose lives had to be rehabilitated in wake of the deadly Kerala floods that have killed more than 300 people in the state and rendered several lakhs homeless.
Anupriya had been saving the money for close to four years to buy a cycle but her heart broke when she heard of the hardships faced by the people of Kerala from her father and promptly decided to donate the money for a good cause.
Her good act, however, has found favour with Hero Cycles, who tweeted that she would soon be getting a cycle from them, free of cost.
Dear Anupriya, We appreciate your gesture to support humanity in the hour of need. You would get a brand new cycle from us. Please DM your address or contact us at customer@herocycles.com. @PankajMMunjal
