ARMY HELICOPTER MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING ON FIELD IN VELLORE

An army helicopter made an emergency landing in a field in Kulithigai in Vellore district on Friday. Reportedly, a four-man crew was on the helicopter, including Lieutenant Colonel Akshay Khalia and Major Puneet. While flying from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bengaluru to Chennai, the crew was made to land in Vellore after a technical fault.
The fault was attended by a team that flew in another helicopter. Reportedly, the helicopter was fixed in two hours and the crew left after that.
