The India Meteorological Department has reportedly forecast rainfall in Chennai and the rest of the State until Friday. The Met department has predicted heavy or very heavy rainfall in the coastal districts of Chennai, Cuddalore, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Villupuram, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Ramanathapuram for Tuesday.
