The Madras High Court has reportedly directed to remove vegetations around Thiru Vi Ka bridge over Adyar river. TOI reports say, the water supply pipelines and vegetations growing on the bridge haven’t been properly maintained which could lead to a dangerous turn of events. Considering this threat, the HC has told the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board (CMWSSB) to take immediate steps to properly maintain them.
