The Madras High Court on Wednesday reportedly passed an interim order to the government of Tamil Nadu asking them not to use school students for state events. Reportedly, school children were compelled to attend the events for MGR's centenary function. According to media reports, the court banned mobilising students for public meetings. But the state school education department filed an affidavit stating that it was a motivational training program for kids.
