The Trump administration is reportedly considering a proposal that recommended ending the provision of granting extension to H-1B visa holders whose application for permanent residence had been accepted. Reports say, about 5,00,000 to 7,50,000 Indian H-1B visa holders could be sent back to India if the administration accepts the proposal.
