The government of Tamil Nadu has reportedly declared holiday for all schools in Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts on Wednesday due to forecast of heavy rain and water stagnation caused due to heavy rain throughout Tuesday night. While heavy rains are expected to lash the state till Friday, no announcement has been made for Thursday yet.
