A giant cut-out of the famous movie Mersal reportedly crashed into an SUV at around 2:30 pm on Sunday in Thiruporur. Reportedly, the driver and a few people who were in the car escaped with minor injuries. The 28-feet poster was reportedly painted by an artist from Puducherry. One of the fans, whose name was included in the cut-out told The Hindu that actor Vijay had informed his fans club associations to remove all of his cut-outs and hoardings after the High Court’s order, but since they thought their fans club association would have acquired permission to display it, they did not remove the cut-out.
