THREE ELEPHANTS FALL INTO 60-FEET WELL IN TN, RESCUED IN SIX HOURS

Forest officials had to rescue three elephants that fell inside a 60-feet well in Kadambur in Erode district on Tuesday night. Reportedly, it took six hours to rescue the elephants.
Out of the three elephants, it was reportedly the calf that fell inside the well first. It is believed that the other elephants fell inside while trying to rescue the fallen calf.
A team of forest officials had to rush to the well at 3.30 am to rescue the elephants. Along with other villagers, the elephants were retrieved by creating a slope on one side of the well. All the elephants were uninjured.
