A government order has been reportedly issued which stated that Rs 3 crore will be allocated every year following Tamil Nadu education minister’s announcement earlier this year that 100 students who excel in four fields including science, technology, art and culture, would be sent on foreign trips. Reports say, a 10-member committee will shortlist the names of the students and the selected students will be travelling to educational institutions in Japan, China, South Korea, US, Switzerland and Germany.
