According to reports, a fire broke out in the Railway Zonal Office at Flower Bazaar in Chennai on Tuesday morning, during which computers and crucial documents were charred. The smoke emerged out of the fourth floor of the building, where the zonal manager’s office along with electrical, accounts and auditing offices is situated. The fire brigade and railway protection force were informed. Four fire vehicles rushed to the spot and doused the fire after an hour, say reports. Flower Bazaar police has filed a case and a probe is on if electrical short circuit caused the fire.
