The police have reportedly filed a case against disqualified MLAs Vetrivel and Thanga Tamil Selvan, both are supporters of RK Nagar MLA TTV Dhinakaran, for allegedly assaulting two policemen on duty. The move comes after the MLAs released documents alleging irregularities in awarding of contracts for road work to companies run by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami's relatives including his son.They alleged that the government suffered a loss of Rs 1,500 crore due to the irregularities. According to reports, police are on a hunt for them.
