Financier side denies usury claim

Gopuram Films, owned by Anbu Cheziyan, the financier who is alleged to have lead director Ashok Kumar, relative of actor-director Sasikumar, to commit suicide, released a statement denying any role in the incident. It further said that many people tend to live a luxurious life at the expense of financiers. Cosps have formed three special teams to nab the financier, who is currently absconding.
