According to reports, a class 12 student committed suicide after her father warned her against using cellphones on Sunday. The 17-year-old from Charles Nagar in Tiruvottiyur was studying in class 12 at a private school in Theradi, say reports. Her father warned her when she was playing with her phone on Sunday. Broken over the incident, the student hanged herself to death. Sathangadu police have reportedly filed a case and an investigation is going on.
