A man who troubled his parents demanding money for liquor has reportedly been killed by his father in Sadayapalayam village near Udumalpet. Reports say 36-year-old Sasikumar demanded money from his mother to drink alcohol and thrashed her when she refused to give money. An argument broke out when his father, 60-year-old Chellamuthu, interrupted. Enraged during the argument, the father hit Sasikumar with a spade, reports added. Suffering a fatal injury, the man died on the spot. Police have reportedly arrested Chellamuthu.
