In a fatal accident, a car and a lorry rammed directly into one another near Dindigul district on Sunday morning. Reports say, two people died on the spot; one of them was a police constable and the other was a friend of Cumbum MLA Jakkaiyan. They were reportedly on the way to pick up the MLA from railway station. A case has been registered and police are investigating the incident.
