EPS SPEAKS BAASHA STYLE DIALOGUE AFTER VICTORY; ALSO TALKS ON 'ASURAN’S' POLITICAL IMPACT

The ruling AIADMK party headed by Edappadi K Palaniswami clinched victory in the by-elections held in Nanguneri and Vikravandi constituencies. After confirming the impending poll results, EPS addressed the AIDMK cadres similar to a popular dialogue in Rajinikanth's Baasha film- "Unmaiya Sonnen" (I told the truth).

"This is the victory given to truth. People were lured in the bygone parliament elections by DMK's fake campaign but now they have realized the truth". Further EPS expressed his gratitude for the people of Nanguneri and Vikravandi.

Additionally, he appreciated the effort of alliance parties - PMK, DMDK and BJP for working towards the success of the election. EPS labelled the victory as the precedent to 2021 state elections.

EPS also talked about Murasoli's Panjami land controversy created by PMK leader Dr Ramadoss after Stalin’s tweet appreciating director Vetrimaran's recent blockbuster film "Asuran" starring actor Dhanush in the lead role.

Asuran’s strong political statement on illicit exploitation of Panjami land by upper cate people has created a significant impact on the realtime TN politics which is an extremely rare outcome in the current generation Tamil Cinema.

"If Murosoli office is on Panjami Land (Land allocated for the oppressed people in TN by Britishers in 1892), the government will definitely take action. However, we will analyze the truth in the first place," said EPS as per News 18 report.
