EPS ANNOUNCES MEASURES TO BOOST ELECTRICITY INFRASTRUCTURE

According to reports, Rs 5,068 crores have been allocated for the formation a total of 25 electricity board sub-stations across the State, said Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in the Assembly on Tuesday.
He said, “An EB sub-station would be established at Samoogarengapuram in Tirunelveli district at a cost of Rs 600 crore. It will have a capacity of generating 400 MW by windmill and solar power in Aaralvaimozhi area”.
