ELITE TASMAC SHOP EMPLOYEES GET NEW PROFESSIONAL LOOK

The employees in Tasmac Elite shops have received new uniforms with the Blazers. The Blazers also have the shop's logo on it. Reportedly there are 83 Elite TASMC shops in Tamil Nadu and 21 are in Chennai.

TamilNadu State Marketing Corporation Limited known as TASMAC has opened Elite shops in several malls and many high-end locations. Therefore the TASMAC officials consider wearing a blazer would make sense.

“We have given blazers to all employees working at Elite shops in Chennai. We will give blazers to employees in other districts in the coming days. Since all Elite shops are air-conditioned, blazers make sense,” a Tasmac official was quoted as saying by the Hindu.

One salesman from Egmore said that the blazer gives him a professional look. “It’s been a week since we got the blazers,” he added further. There are 5,152 liquor shops and 1,872 bars apart from these Elite shops. Reportedly the Tamil Nadu Government has generated a revenue of ₹31,157 crores through TASMAC in 2018-19.
